Artist and educator with an M.F.A. in Visual Arts Studio and extensive post-secondary teaching experience at OCAD University. More than a decade of experience teaching painting, drawing, printmaking and material/process-based studio courses, including recurring appointments within OCAD University's Continuing Studies Program.
Material-focused teaching practice includes paint and medium preparation, encaustic, oil, acrylic, watercolour, egg tempera, chalk gesso, surface preparation, texture and surface development, colour and pigment theory, and print-based processes. Committed to sustainable studio practices through material reuse, upcycling, responsible waste management and thoughtful consideration of material choices.
